“Get your beer here!”

It’s a phrase you can hear at ballparks across the nation; an essential part of the baseball experience.

At Salt River Fields, you have a few more options than the beer passed down to you by all the people in your row. Two bars sit near the outfield on either side with patios, pretty girls and sunshine to help you soak in the laid-back spring training experience.

But which one is better? We asked the bartenders in these establishments why theirs is the best.

“Well, first of all, we’re wearing bow ties, so we’re a classy establishment,” said bartender Ellie Robinson of Bowties, which is down the left field line. “We have a lot of nicer beers than your typical Coors Light, Bud Light…We have a lot of choices which I think people appreciate.”

Over at Salty Senorita, Alicia Longtin and her fellow servers, all ASU students, feel it’s their good attitude and customer service that sells the drinks and tacos over in right field.

“I would say the reason people come and see us is because we give you quality service with our genuine personality.” Longtin said.
